In my previous article I talked about the importance of correctly fitting the head and the shaft of your new Titleist driver in the correct manner and in this article I will look at how you can adjust the alignment or lie angle of your head without completely removing the shaft from the head.
Once again you need to place your shaft in a vertical position as this will allow for correct adjustment and then you need to place the wrench into the socket hole and make about four turns with the wrench counter clockwise or just enough to allow both of the adjustment rings to rotate freely.
After you have done this you can then rotate the hosel sleeves to your desired position which will be either A1, B2, C3 and so on however do remember to align the number you require with the dot on the shaft and you need to look at the 910 alignment guide that comes with all drivers.
Finally you need to tighten the screw again and you need to keep the golf shaft upright and tighten the shaft until the wrench/head clicks.
Once you are happy with the club you may want to hit a few shots with the new position to determine if you have adjusted the club to your desired specification however be patient with your new driver and make certain that you have played enough shots with the altered position before you change again as constant changing and juggling of shaft and head position will only cause indecision when playing on the course.
